APB ONLUS - ROAD SHOW 2014 - LET'S NOT LOSE SIGHT

As part of the campaign "Let's not lose sight", promoted by the International Agency for the prevention of blindness "IAPB Italia onlus" and in collaboration with Novartis, Chrysalis was involved in the making of a Road Show across three Italian regions.
Six mobile ophthalmic units, equipped with specialized equipment, over the period of a month, visited the squares of 30 cities in the regions of Lombardy, Lazio and Sicily, over five thousand free retinal examinations were carried out, almost 16 thousand people received information on age-related macular degeneration for an early diagnosis that can save sight.
An impressive project by Chrysalis for the planning, organization, participation and staff management, with strict timings to be respected and permits to be obtained.
An initiative that, despite the bad weather at the beginning, was distinguished by good levels of citizen participation and was highly appreciated.
